Strictly Stock Rules for 2008 This class is exactly what it says, cars must be strictly stock with the following exceptions allowed:
Cars must be American made rear wheel drive, O.E.M. In every way.
All glass and front inner fenders must be removed.
You must run an approved fuel cell in a steel can min. 18 gauge thickness .
Injected cars may run stock fuel tank, but it must be enclosed in a min. 18 gauge fabricated steel can.
Cars must be equipped with a min. 6 point roll cage constructed of min 1.75 inch diam. Steel tubing with a min. wall thickness of .095 inch.
Cage must have a min. of 3 door bars on drivers and passenger side, with bottom bars connected to Frame/Body.
4 door bars are recommended.
Door bars must be a min. of 1.5 inch diam. tubing and a wall thickness of .083 inch.
All door bars must run parallel to ground.
All drivers must wear approved fire suit, racing gloves, neck brace, and a Snell SA-95 or newer helmet.
Driver must have a 5 way safety harness with a min width of 3 inches.
Car must have an approved drivers side window net.
Any D.O.T. stamped tire is allowed mounted on a stock steel wheel.
No locked or welded rear ends allowed.
Car must have operational brakes on all 4 wheels at all times.
This is an entry level class for beginners and should remain that way. It will provide exciting racing on the track and be a safe class for novice drivers, while being affordable for competitors. We want this class to remain entry level and be reasonable priced for everyone.
